The first official photos of the Porsche Panamera GT have been released by Porsche.
This is one of the most stunningly beautiful cars I have ever seen. The photos of the Panamera GT must be seen in order to appreciate the beauty of this beast.
I found a slew of images just released Feb 12 2009 and compiled them for your viewing pleasure. There is also a great review I found online to go along with them.
PORSCHE REVEALS FIRST INTERIOR IMAGES OF PANAMERA GT
Porsche finally let loose with interior shots of its four-door, four-seat Panamera GT, which goes on sale Oct. 17 in the United States. Sold in three models in rear- or all-wheel drive. The Panamera is a striking design – muscular yet sleek and elegant. And instantly recognized as a Porsche. The interior continues the flowing lines of the exterior. A continuous center console extends from dashboard to the rear seats, providing cockpit-like space for all.
A deep seating position and a sport steering wheel help give the driver and passengers direct contact with the road. The cabin appears roomy with headroom, but the only specifications released to date are for the 15.7-cubic-foot trunk. The tall space allows luggage to be fitted upright. And with the back seat folded, space grows to 44.6 cubic feet. As is standard Porsche procedure, there will be countless ways to upgrade the interior – and raise the transaction price.
Among the options: 13 color and material combinations, including four two-tone leather interiors and seven trim options, such as carbon fiber or Natural Olive wood. An available four-zone climate control system allows individual control of temperature and air flow. Safety features include front, side and curtain air bags, but also standard rear side air bags. The Panamera S and Panamera 4S feature eight-way power seats in front with a driver memory package. The Panamera Turbo has power seats with a memory package for not only the seat functions but also the electronically adjustable steering wheel. Further seating customization is available through optional alternatives such as 18-way adaptive sport seats or fully adjustable eight-way power seats in the rear.
A new audio option will be for a 17-speaker, 1000-watt Burmester ultra high-end surround sound system. The rear luggage area provides up to 15.7 cubic feet of space, enough room for four large suitcases. The tall space enables luggage to be loaded in an upright position, and with the rear seat folded down the luggage space generously increases up to 44.6 cubic feet.
Panamera will debut with three models – The S, The 4S and The Turbo – in rear- or all-wheel drive, two V-8-engine choices and one standard seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) double-clutch transmission. All engines feature Porsche Direct Fuel Injection and stop-start function.
Porsche previously announced that six cylinder and six-cylinder hybrid models will join the lineup following the V-8s. No time estimates on these models.
